ELDOA is a revolutionary stretching and strengthening technique designed for the spine and peripheral joints. The ELDOAs, developed by French Osteopath Dr. Guy Voyer, are very precise postures that target release and balance within every level of your spine to decompress and normalize the tension around each vertebrae via myofacial chains.

The goal of the class is to create space for all of the disks between the vertebrae, realign the spine and normalize the tissues that hold the structure of your spine through an exercise system based on the philosophy of osteopathy to stimulate self-healing processes in the body.

More and more professional, Olympic and amateur athletes are integrating ELDOAs into their training. But ELDOAs do not only target athletes, ELDOA can be added to complement any type of training whether in yoga, running, cycling, even in CrossFit. It brings a therapeutic approach to your training to stimulate your body to recover better. Everyone experiences back pain to some degree at some point and ELDOA addresses that. The spine is the internal support structure of the body, which the ribs and pelvis attach to. It acts as a giant spring inside the body to absorb shock and support us through different daily movements.

The spine also houses our Central Nervous System. The nervous system is the control and communication system of the body known as the “functional headquarters of the body”. The nervous system senses, assimilates information, and responds in order to maintain balance within the body in relationship to the external environment. In fact, the spine and vertebrae are in relation to all of the body including the nerves and the visceral organs via the spinal cord. Focus on the spine and everything else will change.

Training in a variety of movement disciplines, allows for a level of agility and personalization in her educational approach that helps her to create targeted solutions for individual bodies.
