Introduction to Mindfulness
w/Tesia Bryski

Sometimes we drive to work and forget how we arrived. Sometimes we leave our coffee in the coffee machine, and wonder why we’re exhausted at 10am. Sometimes we react to someone in a way we really, really wish we didn’t – or worse, replay that conversation in our minds over and over again, wishing we had said something different!

Mindfulness is the practice of being present in any given circumstance. It’s about developing skills to better respond to stress and suffering, and to cultivate awareness, introspection, resilience, and acceptance.

This 2-hour workshop will offer you a taste of Mindfulness, an introduction to the philosophy, and finally, some useful practices to embody in daily life.
